Moto E is an upcoming dual SIM device from Moto. Moto E features a 5-inch display that has the dimensions of 143.8 (H) x 71.6 (W) x 8.5 (T) mm. Moto E weighs only 140 grams and will be available in two colours of black and white.
Moto E has 5inch display, which lacks 2k display and full high definition display. Moto E comes with High definition display with the screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. There is no front branding on this device. The area above the display has 5 MP front camera. The area below the display has three capacitive keys and lacks a physical button. The device also lacks a fingerprint sensor. The volume and power keys are located on the right side of the device with power button located above the volume buttons. Moto E is a dual SIM device. The back cover and the battery of the device is removable. The device uses 2800mAH battery. Moto E is not water resistant or dust resistant.
The back of the device also features a 8MP primary camera which lacks dual colour LED flash. The device uses simple LED flash. Moto E uses 3.5 mm jack and microUSB2.0 port. It lacks USB TYPE C PORT.
Moto E will give a decent performance on MediaTek MT6735P chipset. It uses Quad core, 1 GHz, Cortex A53 chipset. For graphics, Moto E uses Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. Moto E runs on 1 GB RAM which is quite less as compared to other smartphones in this range.
Moto E will not run on the latest Android Nougat (7.0) but will use Android Marshmallow (6.0) as its operating system. It will also have its own custom UI on top.
Moto E feature an 8 MP rear or primary camera. The camera of MOTO E uses CMOS image sensor to take photos. The device lacks optical image stabilization and dual colour LED. The camera of MOTO E supports LED flash and autofocus. The image resolution of Moto E camera is 3264 x 2448 Pixels. Moto E has a very less internal storage. The device only has 8 GB of internal memory which is very less as compared to devices these days. The memory is expandable, but even the expandable memory is very less. The memory is expandable up to 32 GB only.
Moto E will feature a 2800mAH Li-ion battery which is similar to Apple iPhone. Moto E has a removable battery. It doesn’t support fast or quick charging. It also lacks wireless charging. It uses microUSB port for charging.
Moto E is a dual SIM device which supports 2G in both the devices. The first SIM of the device also supports 4G. Moto E supports these 4Gbands TD-LTE 2600(band 38) / 2300(band 40) / 2500(band 41)
FD-LTE 2100(band 1) / 1800(band 3) / 2600(band 7) / 900(band 8) / 850(band 5) / 800(band 20). Moto E uses Bluetooth version 4 and comes with A GPS glonass technology. It lacks NFC and wireless charging. It also doesn’t support USB TYPE C Port and rather uses micro USB 2.0 port. The device also supports FM radio.
Moto E is expected to cost Rs8,990 in India.
Moto E is a budget phone below 10k. It has very less internal memory and also lacks fast charging. The camera and performance of the device looks fine as per the specifications.
